About Zajac Ranch
Zajac Ranch is an inclusive and accessible camp located on 41 acres in Mission, British Columbia. Our summer medical camps provide children, youth, and young adults living with complex medical conditions and disabilities the opportunity to experience friendship, adventure, independence, and the joy of camp. Our onsite medical team helps make these experiences possible by providing safe, compassionate, and responsive health support throughout each camp session.
Position Overview
Medical Volunteers are an important part of the onsite medical team and support the health, safety, and well-being of campers, staff, and volunteers. Depending on professional qualifications and assigned responsibilities, duties may include camper check-in, medication support, first aid, health documentation, monitoring, and responding to medical concerns as they arise.
Specific duties are assigned by the Nursing Director or designated medical lead based on each volunteer's credentials, authorized scope of practice, training, competence, supervision requirements, the medical team configuration, and the needs of the assigned camp session.
