About Camp Jubilee
Camp Jubilee is a boat‑access adventure camp located on the shores of Indian Arm in North Vancouver. We operate year‑round, offering Outdoor Education programs, rental group experiences, and a vibrant Summer Camp. Our instructors live onsite during work shifts and contribute to a dynamic, supportive, and community‑focused team environment.
Role Overview
Outdoor School Instructors are responsible for delivering high‑quality outdoor education and adventure programming to school groups, youth organizations, and summer campers. This role includes facilitating a wide range of activities, supporting evening programs, and contributing to camp operations during the spring and fall seasons.
In the summer, instructors transition into camp counselors, working weekly with a group of 8–10 campers to create memorable, safe, and engaging camp experiences.
Applicants with High Ropes, National Lifeguard (NLS), or Kayaking Instructor certifications are especially encouraged to apply.

Deliver safe, engaging, and age‑appropriate programming for all groups.
Team Collaboration

Work collaboratively with fellow instructors and leadership staff.

Participate in evening programs including campfires, skit nights, and group games.

Support a positive, inclusive, and enthusiastic camp culture.

Serve as a camp counselor for a group of 8–10 children each week.

Provide supervision, mentorship, and leadership throughout daily activities.
Professional Conduct

Maintain uniform and appearance standards.

Contribute to a safe, welcoming, and community‑focused environment.
Minimum Certifications
-
Prefer 2 years of experience at a camp or conference centre

Clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector screening

Standard First Aid with CPR‑C (16‑hour course)

Pleasure Craft Operator Card
Provided by Camp Jubilee During Training

Paddle Canada Big Canoe Certification*
