Evans Lake is hiring a Kitchen Assistant for our camp in Squamish. This is a great opportunity to learn, live and work, while providing delicious meals for large groups of 40 - 120 people. GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Help a small team preparing food for summer camp, weddings, school groups and adult retreats.
Maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards.

REQUIREMENTS
A positive attitude and a love for food/kitchen life.
Clear criminal records check upon hire, with vulnerable sector search.
1+ years food service experience.
Own transport to Evans Lake if not living at camp, as we are not accessible by public transportation.

ASSETS
Food Safe: Level 1 certificate.
Experience working with special diets/ allergy awareness.
Experience in a camp setting is an advantage (note: we are not a remote/oil camp)

POSITION DETAILS
Competitive Wages:
- Kitchen Assistant $18- $22/ hr; Seasonal, full-time position (40 hours/ week) to end of August.
