MacKenzie Camp (on beautiful Mabel Lake, 35 km east of Enderby, BC) seeks a Director for its spring and summer program, May 1-August 15, 2025. The successful applicant will be dedicated to teamwork, and to the development and implementation of programming which enriches the lives of children and youth.
Requirements:
- suggested age of 25 years or older in accordance with BCCA Standards.
- two or more years of university or university college.
- two or more years experience working with people 5-19 years of age.
- experience in outdoor education, crafts, games, team building, trust activities, life skills, group dynamics, and conflict resolution.
- Pleasure Craft Operator’s Certificate (PCOC)
- consent to a Criminal Records Check.

Compensation: $1300/week for 14 weeks. (Room and board supplied when camps are in session.)
May-June - Rental groups and School Program: facilitation (with support from F/A and Head Cook) of outdoor education activities requested by rental groups, including nonprofit organizations and elementary and secondary schools. These may be overnight or day campers, accompanied by their directors, teachers, and adult volunteers. Time is a standard 40-hour week. When no school programs are scheduled, staff are asked to help with camp maintenance.
