Positions: Specialized Instructor
Employment Term: March 6, 2023 – October 27, 2023
Living Situation:Room and Board provided on site while working.
Reports To: Program Coordinator
Salary and Hours:$128/day *With potential for increase based on advanced certifications (Kayaking, NLS etc…)
4-5 days per week (Daily rate based on 8 hours per day)
Qualifications & Certifications:
Experience working with Children and/or Outdoors is an asset
Minimum of Standard 1st Aid & CPR-C
Beneficial training:
Our specialized instructors work under an Assistant Coordinator who is responsible for a specific activity area at camp such as the waterfront, challenge courses or land based activities. Specialist Instructors have advanced training in two of the three areas. They are required to hold two of the following certifications: National Lifeguarding Pool or Waterfront, ACCT level 2 or equivalent (can be obtained at Camp Jubilee at a cost) or Paddle Canada Kayak Instructor (also available at Camp Jubilee for a cost) or SKGABC level 1.
All staff team members are expected to model enthusiasm, respect and professionalism at all times. It is expected that all Jubilee team members adhere to our uniform standards and maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
